The Hoya Hindu Rope is a unique & interesting member of the Hoya family.
It's characterised by its small, curly leaves. It is a hanging hoya, which is how it gets it's name in combination with it's growth pattern, it looks like rope!
General Care Guide
Lighting - The Hindu Rope can tolerate anything from bright indirect light to lower light conditions, but is happiest somewhere in between. Just be weary of direct sun as this may cause the leaves to burn.
Watering - Hoya in general don't like having wet feet, we recommend watering once the soil has become at least 80% dry to avoid root rot.
Soil - When it comes time to re-pot, use a well draining, all round soil mix, such as our GrowingGreen House Plant Mix.
Plant Support - Hoya can be left to hang, however they can also climb so however you choose to display yours is a matter of preference! If you wish for your hoya to climb, recommend to use a plant support such as a Plant Support Trellis, so its tendrils have something to grip onto. Hindu Rope are more prone to being hanging hoya, so we recommend letting them hang out and do their own thing!
Fertiliser - We recommend feeding every time you water using a fertiliser, such as GT Foliage Focus , GT Flower Focus during the blooming season or SuperThrive Foliage Pro to help your plant thrive!
