Refund policy
Change of mind
We encourage you to choose carefully, as we don’t offer refunds if you change your mind. If a product is faulty, we will of course meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If you cancel an order, the payment processing fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund. This covers costs that we are unable to recover.
Plants
Due to the fragile nature of plants, shipping them is always a risk.
Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds on plants that arrive damaged due to handling or delays by couriers. We also do not offer refunds for plants with yellowing leaves or minor leaf damage caused during transit as this is accepted by the purchaser as something that can occur for a semi-perishable good when posted.
If an order needs to be refunded for reasons beyond our control (i.e pick up only plant that cannot be shipped, refusal to pay oversized shipping fee) the transaction fee for your order will be deducted from the refund amount.
Products
If a product arrives damaged, notification must be received within 48hrs of package arrival. Please send us a photo or video as proof of damaged goods.
Refunds issued due to lost or damaged packages will only be given once claims are accepted by the courier company.
Any notification of lost or damaged packages received after 2 weeks will not be able to be refunded due to time elapsed.
If an order needs to be refunded for reasons beyond our control (i.e no contact is made after incorrect shipping is selected, refusal to pay rural fee or general change of mind) the transaction fee for your order will be deducted from the refund amount.
Faulty goods
If an item is potentially faulty, it must be returned to us (at our cost) before a refund/replacement can be issued. Once we have received the item, it will be tested to check for the fault. This may take a few days.
In some instances the item may not need to be returned to us and a photo or video may be sufficient, this will be at our discretion.
For faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, they will be replaced or repaired in the first instance or refunded only if no replacement or suitable exchange is available.
If the item is found to be in working order/functioning as expected, the item will be returned to the customer. Shipping costs associated with the return of non-faulty goods are the responsibility of the customer.
Discount codes
Discount codes are to be used for their intended purpose only.
We reserve the right to dispute the use of any incorrectly used code. If found to be used incorrectly, we will charge the full order amount before sending the order out.
Any/All refunds will only be offered/issued once a full investigation is carried out.
Overseas Orders
We do not ship orders outside of New Zealand.
